Topaz Information
Topaz Vaulters is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit.
We offer two programs for those interested in participating in vaulting.
1. Vaulting Lessons – This is an opportunity for those looking to learn to vault and enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded horse lovers in a respectful barn that promotes good horsemanship and sportsmanship.
Benefits include:
- Flexibility to balance vaulting with other interests
- Potential to participate in competitive opportunities including Regional Championships when space is available
- Opportunity for clinics and other educational events when space is available
2. Topaz Team Membership - This is an on-going commitment for those interested in vaulting with a focus on the development of competitive vaulting skills. It is also an opportunity to enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded horse lovers in a respectful barn that promotes good horsemanship and sportsmanship. Our guiding values are joy, gratitude, humility, and respect.
Benefits include:
- Training to compete as an individual, with a partner, and in a team
- First choice for all competitive opportunities (additional cost)
- At a minimum
- Spring Fest in May at Frying Pan Park in Herndon, VA
- AVA Region IX Championships, last weekend of June or first weekend of July in Lexington, VA
- Fall Fest in September at Frying Pan Park in Herndon, VA
- 2-3 other regionally based opportunities including AVA National Championships when on the east coast
- At a minimum
- First choice for all clinic and educational opportunities (additional cost)
- Eligibility to earn a Letter through the Interscholastic Athletic Program offered by the USEF
- Team building events
- Team size limited to 8
